Connemara X
Bailey is an absolute star in the making, will excel in any sphere. Owned since a yearling, he has been carefully & correctly produced to date. He is 100% to handle, catch, groom, clip, bath, load, travel, tack up. He has no vices, not nappy & doesn’t buck or rear. He is well established under saddle, always snaffle mouthed. We have been producing him for dressage, and he schools beautifully in walk/trot/canter, shows good lateral work, and has started working on medium/extensions & counter canter, walk-canter. During 2021 as a 4yo we competed him regularly unaffiliated at Intro level, moving up into Prelim later in the year. He has always been placed, quite often 1st. He was champion of the Richmond Equestrian Centre Intro League and champion of the Cooke’s Coach-builders Carnival of Dressage at Intro level, held at Aintree. We have many test sheets, photos & videos if required. He takes everything in his stride at competitions, he is happy to wait on the box for any length of time, easy to handle & tack up, warms up in any size group, and settles perfectly when staying away from home. He hacks alone & in company, goes first or last. He can be a little spooky at times when on his own, just lacks confidence due to his age. He has not had a lot of experience in traffic as our roads are quiet but is good with cars/vans. We have done minimal jumping work, due to his age & our focus on dressage. However he has been on a number of country fun rides & seen small SJ & XC fences, ditches & water & taken all in his stride, never said no. Bailey is up to date with vaccinations, dentist, worming & farrier. He has good conformation with straight, floating movement. He would suit a competent teenager or a small adult-he has a good depth of girth to take up the leg. Sadly available to the best of homes, with his full wardrobe, only due to his jockey waiting for an operation. We have given him a few months off over winter but he’s ready to be back in work, with an exciting future ahead of him we feel the time is right to find him a new home.
