Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances this young lady ( Rosie ) is looking for her a new home. Heartbreaking decision but must put Rosie’s needs first.
A little bit about Rosie…
Approx 15.3 rising 5 in April thoroughbred mare. Has been ridden all summer and winter by a keen 12yr old girl. Rosie has been produced nicely under my watchful eye! Went to her first fun ride over summer and behaved impeccably. Popping everything asked of her. Has also been out arena eventing training (her first time seeing fillers and rustics) and took everything in her stride again piloted by a 12yr old.
In the school- Rosie is starting to work nicely on the flat, she has three lovely comfortable paces. Would excel at dressage in the right hands. Rosie has been introduced to showjumps, rustics and fillers. Never batting an eyelid, starting to make a nice shape as the jumps get bigger. Rosie will make someone who is on a budget a fantastic allrounder.
Hacking-Rosie is good to hack alone and in company, good in traffic. Rosie is more of a foward ride hacking out in the open, never dangerous or nasty, but she does cover the ground.
On the yard- Rosie is good to groom etc, but can be a fidget if she can’t see her friends… Rosie can pull the odd mare stare but nothing malicious. Rosie is good to load, shoe, bath. She has been clipped, wasn’t keen with behind her ears and face so popped a twitch on for a few minutes to finish up… foot perfect!
Rosie has trained and raced so qualifies to compete ROR which I think she would also excell at!! Rosie is a very versatile little horse who would benefit from an active home. Due to her age Rosie is not for a nervous or novice rider. Unfortunately Rosie does have a sarcoid in her off-fore armpit which doesn’t effect her in any way and hasn’t changed in the 5 months she has been with us. This is heavily reflected in her price, home is much more important. Plenty more videos upon request.
Looking to match lovely horses and ponies with the perfect homes.
