Perfect Fun All - Rounder

All Rounder, Pony Club and Eventing
Ideal second pony for a competitive young rider, who’s looking for a new friend as she has so much to give and a bright future ahead of her. She is a forward going & keen pony so not for a complete novice as can occasionally be strong but not silly. More pull/hold, then kick type of pony and she is off the leg. Aurora is by “Kingstown Cavalier” who was a Grade A, Class 1 stallion jumping 1,30 pony classes, out of “Tinahely Robin” mare. N/N HWSD status. She has outstanding confirmation; is a nicely put together, stamp of a connemara pony with 3 balanced paces. She is the perfect mix of a sporty, yet chunky build 14hh pony. Born 2017 (5 year old). Very affectionate and loves attention. Has a cheeky side to her personality which everyone that has met her loves about her. Has the attitude to please, and tries her hardest. She is a great, honest pony. Aurora has seen a fair bit of the world, she is very much a “old head, on young shoulders” type in most cases. Hacks alone & in company, and has seen traffic. XC schooled where she jumped everything. Has participated in dressage where she came home with a 1st in the intro with 65%, and 63% in her first prelim, placing 3rd with very promising marks and comments from the judges. Competed in unaffiliated showjumping up to 85cm not phased by any fillers or atmosphere, and has had a few placings. She is impeccably behaved at shows/outings wether she’s tied up outside lorry or inside. Been on numerous fun rides too. Has been hunting too where she proved bold and brave, a little too keen at times - being one of the smallest in the field. She has been ridden by a variety of competent novice riders to amateurs. Both in the school and hacking, she is very versatile and doesn’t take the mick or “test” new riders. Aurora has never bucked, reared or napped. Truly believe she doesn’t know how to be naughty if she tried. More than happy to live in or out, really easy going. Good to clip, box, shoe (front only), catch etc. Up to date with vaccinations, dentist, physio etc. Sadly, she does have mild sweet itch, but it doesn’t affect her performance at all and it is easily manageable (happy to discuss her management etc) It’s time for her to move on and find pastures new with a younger able rider, she’s got too much to give and realistically will be wasted with me as Im too old for ponies, she showed me the love I’d lost for competing, filling me with confidence & no doubts and have caught the bug again! She ‘s fit and ready to go and win this summer. She can be a little too ‘friendly’ with other horses as she doesn’t understand personal space or boundaries, so she has mainly been in her own field with friends next door. Open to an vet/inspection and will not go unseen as she means a lot to my family as she’s a part of it. She will be dearly missed.
