Description
Dittonpriors Ditto (Didi) is an ultimate all-round top class competition pony that excels at show jumping and working pony classes. She is 11.3hh, 12 years, grey mare, registered Welsh section A. Didi regularly competes in show jumping classes and is super competitive around 70cm. She is very careful over a fence and is not phased by fillers and would be a cracking BS starter pony. We have never registered her as there aren't any BS venues in our area. My daughter regular attends the Holderness Hunt Pony Club and has taken part in all activities including rallies, camps and pony club games as well as taking part in the team competitions. Didi has amazing presence and correct confirmation, which has seen her do very well in working pony classes. Last summer she won the NPS area 4 first ridden working pony class and was also in the top 10 placings of the M&M working pony 122cm HOYs qualifier, gaining great feedback from the judges. Didi will turn her hoof to anything. She is well schooled and produces a nice prelim dressage test, she enjoys cross country and my daughter loves taking part in ODE's with her. She has been on Hound exercises with the Holderness Hunt and also has been out with the Highmoor Bloodhounds. She is always ridden in a wilkie snaffle. Around home Didi hacks out alone or in company. She will tootle into the village on the buckle end or go for a blast around the fields if you want her too. She is excellent in open spaces, not at all spooky and great in traffic. Didi is a real Mothers dream, in the 7 years that we have owned her she has never put a foot wrong. She is as safe as they get both ridden and on the ground. She is a forward going second pony and wouldn't suit a first ridden type as she knows her job and is looking for a established quiet and balanced rider to take over the reins. My daughter does everything by herself, including grooming, tacking up, bringing her in from the field and even loading her in the trailer. She has no vices and honestly has been our pony of a lifetime. This is a heart breaking sale but the time has now come for Didi to teach a new little jockey the ropes.
