- ⭐️ York ⭐️ 12.2 - Liver Chesnut, 15yo Gelding. York is tentatively looking for a new 🏡 and we are hoping to find him his next little jockey to become the best of friends! This pony means the world to us and we owe him so much so will only go to a 10⭐️ home York is good to do in all ways, from grooming, catching and handling to ridden - he truly is a gem to have around💎. York really looks after his rider, whether that be stepping it down for them or stepping it up a gear! My 4 year old daughter has done lead rein jumping on him, to my eldest daughter who is 12 has jumped him regularly, competing at 60/70 and even had a few pings around 80s where he is fast against the clock. Regularly coming home in the ribbons!! He takes his rider into a fence willingly and genuinely, and if the striding is abit off - he is there to help you out at all times. York would be a great bs starter pony for someone, my daughter is 12 now so can’t do bs on a 12.2 otherwise she would have. Whilst being with us, York has done a variety of fun stuff with us from pony club rallies, local shows, stay away showjumping shows, unaffiliated showjumping, XC, working hunter trials and many more including arena hires and xc schooling where he always give his all. We feel York would be best suited as a second pony as he is a forward going ride and loves his job so we are looking for a confident child that wants to go out and have fun. Reason for sadly parting is due to my daughters legs growing too quickly and sadly needs the next height as she’s wanting to do bs, York truly is the sweetest pony and is ready to take his new jockey far.
