- Heartbreaking sale of the most genuine boy. Scampi is a rising 9yo, 15’3hh ISH. He is a sort hard to find, genuine and honest but with a competitive edge and scope to burn. He is such a nice person and whether it’s my instructor, yard owner, friends, fellow liveries or farrier - everyone loves him and only has positives to say about Scampi. Owned since February 2022, he has been a dream for the last year. He’s super low mileage so has so much more to give, unfortunately there aren’t the funds to keep two on livery anymore otherwise he’d be a forever horse. He was 5* vetted with X-rays with an eventing job in mind and passed with flying colours and since then he has never been sick or sorry. He’s great to shoe, clip, load, travel and hack - you name it he’s cool with it. He’s also great in any open space, so what’s not to like ? He’s done a number of ODE’s in the North of England (just ask for details if interested !) and he came 7th at his first BE80. He is the perfect gentleman away from home, he’d stand tied to that box all day long. He only has 20 on his record (xc) due to the jockey sailing past a fence 🙄 🙈🙈. His dressage scores have been consistently in the low to mid 30’s and has just had the odd fence SJ. He is forgiving on a bad stride and will give everything a go and he loves his jumping in a sane and sensible way. Loads of pictures and videos on request.
