- Buster, 15h, Silver Dun, 10yo, Irish gelding A super horse for a confident, competitive amateur wanting to have fun at grassroots level. Buster is a kind, gentle horse who is a pleasure to have around. He is easy to handle and a quiet horse to have on the yard. He is a competition horse, and can be sensitive and a little bit sharp, but nothing nasty or dangerous, he’s just looking for someone who wants to go out and about competing! In Ireland he evented at 90 and show jumped at 1m, then his current owner bought him in Feb 2021 and he passed a 5 stage vetting. Although having fairly low mileage since then, he has competed unaffiliated dressage and show jumping, as well as going cross country schooling and to riding club clinics and a summer camp. Since being with us this year he has been out XC schooling and SJ training, as well as Arena Eventing at 90. He is entered in a UA90 event next month. Buster is good and quiet to do everything with. He loads and travels really well and happily stands alone on the box. He’s a brave and honest chap so he’s good to hack alone and in company, he’s good with traffic too. He is snaffle mouthed for everything and is generally quite easy to ride if you enjoy something a little more forwards. He is going to make a really fabulous horse for someone to go and have a lot of fun with. He would suit a confident, competitive adult or teenage coming off ponies, who wants to go out and be very competitive on the grassroots circuit.
