- Pop 13.1, 12 year old brilliant alrounder for sale. Pop is a jolly, forward going pony for the right rider, for a more nervous rider she steps down and can be a bit more of a kick along but then will grow with her rider. Current owners have had her 2 years and taken daughter from a wobbly rider jumping x poles to courses of 80-90cm (arena hire) confidently to galloping up the home stretch at Cheltenham pony races. She is always willing to please. She is a fine 13.1 so would be best suited to a smaller/younger child. Full history known before current owners she was a riding school pony which would make sense why she adapts easily to her rider. She will jump round 50cm & 60cm courses all day long, and has no problem jumping bigger at home but my daughter gets very nervous so hasn’t jumped her higher competitively. Done PC camps, XC, dressage, mounted games, Pony Club, racing, stay away shows and is an angel on the gallops. Hacks in company and alone and is really good in traffic. Snaffle mouth at all times. I would say brilliant first ridden as she was for my daughter and will grow with the child. However she is not complete novice ride as can get a bit more forward when out somewhere but always keeps you safe, good to groom, bath, pick out feet, catch, lead, clip, for the farrier and vet (only seen vet for teeth and vaccinations) She is happy to do bareback in the field or school and happy to be ridden by a 4 year old. She can step up a gear when asked to and is great fun. She would prefer a busy, active schedule as she loves to have a job. A 5* home with a bit of experience is needed for this special girl. Up to date on teeth, jabs, worming, feet and back. Fairly fit and ready for the upcoming season. Plenty of pony club references available she is known and loved by many!
