- Maggie is a quality 16.3hh 7yr mare, a super hard type to find with exceptional breeding out of Sligo Candy Boy and Balou de Rouet, she has the most fabulous temperament with such a willing, kind and genuine attitude to life! Maggie has been brought on slowly so not to spoil her, schools superbly on the flat with lovely rhythmical paces and real natural cadence that make Judges love her with Prelim scores of 74%. She is a very classy horse that looks the part and oozes talent and has that look at me factor. She was entered in BRC virtual dressage winter series where she came 3rd at prelim and qualified for the champs where she came 12th overall. She has since been out and done 2 prelims which she won and a a training show where she also won her BE test with scores in the low 70s. Three lovely balanced and active paces, works in a correct consistent outline and is responsive to the aids without being sharp. A fantastic uphill canter and a wonderful trot that is very easy to lengthen and shorten. Maggie is a fantastic hack both alone and in company, great in traffic and in open spaces. A lovely horse to have on the yard, great to box/shoe/clip, super away from home, no stable vices. She moves straight and has no blemishes, she is good to clip, catch and shoe and travels well in a box or trailer. She will go out with mares and geldings been very easy to lead.
