Well balanced, accurate and great rythym This is an incredibly hard sale, so a good 5* home is required. Wills has taken my son around BE90s and now Arena Eventing at 1 metre. For the past 2 years Wills and my son have been training with Jeanette Brakewell and Wills education has massively levelled up. >He took my son to the NSEA Championships at Hickstead last year, they came 2nd at their first BE90u18, qualified and had the most wonderful experience at the Frickley Park Area Festival and gained many double clears at BE90. They have won so many Show Jumping and Arena Eventing competitions both NSEA and UA . We now wished we had done BSJA as he has such scope and rarely knocks a pole. > Wills is not a 1st pony, he has a very powerful jump and incredibly careful. > DRESSAGE: Producing consistently low 30's Dressage score with a PB of 28.5. His tests are accurate and he has 3 lovely balanced paces with great rythym working to the contact, his suppleness improves every day, so I believe his dressage scores will keep on getting better. > SHOWJUMPING: He is very careful show jumping rarely touching a pole, often looks like he is jumping a novice course with the height he gives above the poles. He has a good stride and will figure his own distances between combinations. > CROSS COUNTRY: He loves XC and I would say this is his favourite phase he doesn't get fizzy, he is incredibly bold, giving solid fences a huge amount of air and tries incredibly hard. Doesn't get strong to a jump or out of control. A fantastic pony to move up the rankings and learn from. He is solid over ditches, steps and water. He loves a corner jump or a trakhener. > EXTRA: He has been to multiple Pony Club Camps and Rallies and has hunted in the past. He loves the Somerford Farm ride and always behaves wherever we go. > HIS CHARACTER: This has to be my favourite bit about him. He has the most loveable character and everyone adores him, he will happily stand and be plaited, studded and groomed by a child and will always give a cheeky nudge for a treat. Wills gives us a Winnie when we arrive and will canter across the field if he is called, especially if you have a carrot. His head is always over the stable door wanting a bop on his cute nose or a scrub between his eyes. He is good to shoe, clip and for the dentist etc. He hacks alone and with others, he has come across plenty of machinery and hacked past a loud school with children screaming, throwing balls and running around. We only started on the U18's towards the end of the season, but in his 1st Competition he came 2nd on challenging XC course. This worked towards 1 out of 2 of their qualifications. With the right rider I believe Wills could make the U18 BE80 or BE90 regional team. He needs a confident rider that is wanting to make their move into eventing or already eventing and wanting to go for the u18 teams, he would also suit a pony club home.
