- 128.2cm LHC, Gelding, 12 years old by Cockney Rebel
Rebel has won countless championships in hand and under saddle in Scotland. Some highlights include Supreme Champion @ Fife County, Supreme Champion @ Central and West Fife and Reserve Supreme In Hand and Ridden @ CHAPS Scottish Regional qualifying for both King of the Ring Finals.
He is undoubtedly HOYS/RIHS standard; I have felt just too big on him to contest consistently at this level.
He has competed affiliated British Dressage with 57 points at Prelim level. In his first season he qualified for Nettex CHAPS Associated Championship, BD U25 Championship, BD Scottish Championship and 4x PetPlan Area Festival.
Rebel hacks out alone and in company and has always been unbothered when we’ve met heavy traffic including buses, log lorries, delivery vans, tractors, trailers etc. He is mannerly in open spaces and stubble fields also.
He has a nice jump and has seen fillers, small cross country fences and has popped some working hunter courses.
He is also broken to drive but hasn’t done this since I bought him in 2016.
Good to shoe (but is also happy barefoot), load, travel, bath, clip, vet and lives in or out. He is an absolute gentleman to handle and needs no working in, lunging, calmers, plugs etc in any situation.
He would be suitable for a competent child through to a small adult. He takes your leg well, for reference I am 5’2/5’3 and a ladies size 12/14.
It is essential he goes to a 10* long term home where he will have a varied, loving lifestyle.
