- Oreo This is an EXTREMELY hard sale for a pony that is so loved by my son and everyone that meets her! Oreo is 5 years old but for a young pony she’s been there done it & got the T-shirt 👕 Oreo is a level headed 5 year old all rounder pony that has taken my son from not riding to hunting, ponyclub, mounted games comps, cross country, jumping & galloping the mountains all in under a year! She is as safe as they come! She will stand all day to be groomed by kids. She loves a bath. She’s fab for farrier, dentist. Loads on trailer, lorry, 3.5t and travels like a dream. This pony has NO quirks or vices! They don’t come like Oreo very often. My sons favourite discipline is mounted games which oreo also loves. I’ve found in comps she does love to race (nothing my 8 year old can’t handle) and for this discipline only I’d say 2nd pony. Out hacking she’s literally a dope on a rope and would suit lead rein, 1st pony or 2nd and can switch up when asked! She has pace but only when asked. Hunting she was foot perfect. My sons first ever hunt and she stood like a rock at the meet and looked after him the whole way. Not fizzy at all. Amazing in all traffic! Unflappable type. Not spooky at all! Not phased by fillers or equipment. Literally not found anything to spook this pony. Oreo is fine away from home and respects electric fencing, she’s amazing in hand for little ones to lead not bolshy at all. You can jump all over the pony and she is not bothered. Up to date with back, teeth & farrier Super hardy pony, will live out or in. Good feet & unshod. Super easy to catch & handle (my son does it all) Only selling as my son now needs the next step up games pony ☺️ Ridden in snaffle at all times (soft mouth in all disciplines other than games when her inner racehorse comes out 😂) but as said above nothing a confident child wouldn’t handle. My son is in love with this pony. So will only go to the best of homes. We are not in a rush to sell her. ☺️ lots more photos & videos on request! Oreo remains in work and will do until sold.
