***Competed at his first dressage test 19/02 scoring 68.90% and behaved impeccably***
Rising 5 (May), 16.1 medium weight flashy chestnut gelding. He is warmblood bred on his Dam line, with Proset and Weltmyer among a few of the names. His Sire is a successful pony Stallion based in Cornwall renowned for producing talented horses and ponies with trainable and level-headed attitudes.
I backed Levi myself as a 3-year-old, which he took to very well, never putting a foot wrong. He spent the summer lightly hacking before being turned away for the winter, to mature and develop mentally and physically.
As a 4-year-old he started some light schooling duties, and towards the end of the year started jumping under saddle. Again, proving to be uncomplicated and unflappable, even in new environments.
Throughout all his training he has remained genuine and honest, and in no way sharp. I am very much an amateur rider who lacks confidence in jumping, but he has been a pleasure to ride. He hacks alone and in company, has been in open fields and ridden alongside heavy traffic. Levi has proven to be straightforward and uncomplicated in every way.
He has been to venues away from home and was just as calm away as at home. He is snaffle mouthed, and works well on the flat. He is straightforward and honest to a fence.
I bought him as a yearling direct from the breeder, so full history is known. The plan was to have him take over from my older competition horse, but sadly circumstances have changed and due to time and finances he is offered up for sale.
He is excellent to catch, load, clip and shoe. He has the happiest of attitudes, and just wants to be your best friend and please all the time.
Experienced and knowledgeable home required due to his age.
Only for sale due to personal reasons, sensible offers considered.
Saddle and rugs available by separate negotiation. He has a very slight dish in front that does not affect his soundness or way of going and is getting straighter as he progresses.
Based South West Devon/Cornwall boarder just off the A30
