- Very sad sale of our much loved pony. We have owned Olly for 2 ½ half years but he is now very sadly outgrown. Bought as a second pony for my then 8 year old daughter, Olly has taken her on to do a variety of disciplines. From show jumping, dressage, cross country, one day events, arena eventing, pony racing, beach rides, mounted games, and two pony club camps. Olly is excellent in the heaviest of traffic, not spooky at all, he hacks both in company (prefers to be in front), or alone. Olly has also done Endurance with his previous owner. Olly has successfully competed in show jumping up to 80cm, however we feel Olly prefers to jump up to 70cm with a more inexperienced jockey. Olly won pony Club Area 13 Mini Champs ODE with my then 9 year old daughter. Last year they also qualified for Area 13 Regional Champs in both individual dressage and Show jumping, and the Sunshine Tour. With a few exceptions Olly is always in the ribbons. Olly has lovely floating paces and we feel that he would excel at dressage with more work put in, unfortunately dressage isn’t our thing. Olly is easy to do on the ground, he is perfect to clip, load, travel, vet, farrier, catch. Up to date with vaccinations. Olly is never sick or sorry. Olly lives out 24/7, and is fine living with both mares and geldings. Tack and full wardrobe included. Olly is not for a novice, while he is quiet and calm when being ridden at home (non-horsey friends often ride him), he is strong, can be cheeky, and sometimes throws a buck when at competitions. If allowed, Olly can sometimes be a bit nappy but, with a confident rider, he knows to get on with his job. Olly is a second or third pony but is a lot of fun for a more experienced rider. Seeking the right 5* home, which must be knowledgeable, for this lovely cheeky chap. More photos and videos available on request.
