Rebel 13.2 11 year old welsh pony He is with me on sales livery on behalf of his owner as they now found a new pony. Since he’s been with me my 9 year old daughter has been riding him, hacking and jumping him ect and he’s been fab with her. His current rider who I’m selling for is a small girl but isint the most confident and has moved to more of a first ridden who can take her up to the next step. Rebel wants to go to someone who’s ready to go out and about and get on with the fun things. I would say he is more of a second pony for an older child or even more confident younger child to step up onto. No complete novices ie kids that can’t rise in their trot yet, ones that wobble around and rely on their hands but end up yanking the pony in the mouth although he’s not sensitive he can sometimes take the mick if he knows he can typical pony! Since being with us he has done lots of hacking, is perfect in traffic and open spaces, snaffle mouthed at all times, no handed cantering (kids just being kids!) he’s done some jumping we found he’s honest to a fence, xc and fun rides. He’s been to various different arena hires, done a bit of pony club in old home and a bit of everything really. Would do a lovely dressage test as he works lovely on the flat. Super fun pony! He carries the bigger girls on the yard too so would equally suit a mother/daughter share if mum is wanting to ride in the week when kids are at school! Full history known he came from a 14 year old girl who had him before and sadly outgrew him. Good to stable, no vices, good with farrier he came to me barefoot but as we have done a lot of hacking we just put fronts on him but no reason why he couldn’t go back to being barefoot. Lots more pictures and videos available on request or click the link at bottom which will take you to his advert. Open to trainers/vettings (passed 5 stage in February) I’m based in inkberrow West Midlands and have my 9 year old daughter to take viewings as it’s always nice to be able to see kids riding kids ponies rather then adults that have produced them to then sell on as a kids pony then find the pony is actually too strong for a kid ect. £6500 with bridle and other bits and bobs, saddle can be available by seperate negotiation (he didn’t come to me with one as they use on new pony but I have one that fits him which he could come with)
