- 🐻 Teddy 🐻 13h 12yo Gelding Sweet temperament and always easy to handle. A real teddy bear! Safe, straightforward ride. Goes when asked, stops when asked and nice to ride. Always in a snaffle, never strong, fizzy or silly. Ultimate happy hacker. Good in traffic, goes alone or in company, safe in open spaces. Jumps logs, goes through water and not at all spooky. My daughter was hacking him at 9 with the ‘big girls’ and he always looked after her. Mr Reliable! Pops small jumps but we’ve been jumping more lately and he’s enjoying it so potential there to do a bit more, he’s just never been asked to. I would absolutely love to find a competent novice upwards for him, an older child, 9 upwards maybe. He’s always been a lead rein/just off lead (my 5 year old can potter around off lead safely) but he has so much fun with us that I would like him to carry on with this. He steps up for competent riders so the bigger girls can enjoy him too. We’ve known Teddy for two years now and absolutely love him so I will be extra picky with who he goes to next ☺️ preference to someone that wants to hack lots as he loves it!
