- Leffy is a beautiful 16hh, 8 year old gelding by Le Fou. He last raced in early April and has retired fit, well and with no injuries or vices. He moves like a warmblood and has a fabulous temperament. Since his arrival here he's been hacking alone and in company (which he loves). He's been unpahsed by traffic and farm machinery both on his own and with his friends. He has been out XC training and took to it like a duck to water. He was bold over fences and was happy to tackle water, skinnies, ditches and everything in between. Due to my other horse being lame he filled in last weekend and attended his first one day event a little sooner than expected, where he did a very honest dressage test, jumped a clear XC inside the time and a lovely round of SJ with just one baby pole through a combination to finish 5th in his first event. He is a pleasure to handle and waited paitently in a stable while his stable mate competed in the next class. He's got a powerful back end and moves well enough to become a super pure dressage horse, and is talented enough to become an event horse. He is obviously new to his job but has all the basics installed and would be a competitive prospect for this season. We will continue to produce him with Eventing in mind until the right person comes along. He is open to viewings and vettings from next week. For further information please call 07915 908328.
