- I am looking for a loving home for Peps, someone who can give him the time he deserves. I bought Peps in January and fell in love with his character but bought him as a bit of a project. We have worked hard in the school, and he has now started to work in a lovely outline. With some time and patience, I think he could do well in dressage as he has lovely and elegant paces. However, I have come to realise that what I want is a happy hacker, and Peps gets too excited on a hack for me. At the moment, he cannot hack on his own and needs to hack in a group with others. On a hack, he can throw in a buck in transition to canter, and although he has brakes, he can sometimes canter at a pace! He is also a little nervous and likes to look at things. He needs a loving but confident rider to help bring him on and give him confidence. He is never strong but can trot on his toes when nervous. He has a lovely jump on him but can take issues with you, if you are not soft on his mouth. On the ground though, he is an utter gentleman and has the sweetest nature. He will stand for the farrier, loads impeccably, and can be brought to and from the field by my 10-year-old daughter. I have recently spent £1500 on fillings and fixing all his dental issues. He is completely up to date with farrier, dentist, vaccinations, and wormer. I work full time and have two children so have come to realise that I cannot dedicate the time he needs to turn him into the amazing horse I know he can be. He will come with a brand new Collegiate ComfiTec anatomical bridle, his saddle, Le Mieux padded saddle pad. He will also have his brand new 0g, 100g, 200g and Horseware Rambo fly rug and mask.
