- Heidi is a 14.1, 10 year old, green papered Connemara. She is a super fun ‘been there, done that’ pony club competition pony. She loves to jump and has taken my daughter to many pony club / riding club and NSEA championships in show jumping, arena eventing and cross country - including numerous individual and team placings.She is bold, careful and fast against the clock and we have had countless wins and placings with her. She also loves to hack (alone or in company), has attended two pony club camps and numerous stay away shows and championships. In her previous home, she hunted regularly and team chased, as well a completing four BE90 events. Heidi is an extremely sweet mare to handle. She is cuddly and well behaved, traffic proof, great to load, shoe and with the vet / dentist etc. She may need a scoop to catch on rare occasions and we give her a bit of ACP to clip. We are looking for a home that will love and enjoy Heidi as a family pony and not just a winning machine. She thrives on routine and loves to be out and about doing a variety of things. She has taken my daughter from 70s to 1m and taught her so much. She is not a novice ride as she is strong and bouncy and can sometimes be impatient but a competent rider who takes the time to form a bond with her will have nothing but fun and success with Heidi. This is a very sad and reluctant sale but my daughter needs to move on to horses. She will only go to a 5* home. Our vetting on purchase showed an old injury to a hind leg (full report available). Price reflects this, although she has never been sick or sorry for day with us or in her previous home.
