- Molly is rising 7 (2016). She is the sweetest mare, easy to do, upto date with vaccinations, teeth etc, she has good feet and is currently barefoot. I bought her last year, I was told she’s done a bit of everything in Ireland with a teenage lad. Since I’ve had her I’ve only had the chance to take her to 2 shows due to work commitments, and both times she travelled on her own, warmed up beautifully and popped sweetly round BS clear rounds. If I had more time to get to shows I would register her as she’s ready to go out and get her double clears. She is really light in the mouth, only needs a nathe snaffle, never strong or silly. She hacks alone, and has never put a foot wrong under saddle, she rides the same if you ride her every day or if you leave her for a week. The only reason I’m thinking of selling her is she needs to be on a bigger yard than our private yard. We currently only have her and 1 pony, and she gets anxious when the pony leaves her, she’s happy to be turned out first, but she doesn’t like having the pony taken away from her. I sadly lost my 29yr old pony this year, and when we had 3 so was happier as she would go out and come in 2nd, always having a friend in view. I must stress, she is absolutely fine to be taken away from them to be ridden, hacked or load up for a show alone.
