Sadly outgrown by daughters.
Riding club activities as part of Derwent South Pony Club for the last 2 years, thoroughly enjoying taking part in rallies (including dressage, show jumping, and cross-country training), 2 summer camps, polocrosse training, hunting, and all pony games. Hacked out in lots of locations including woodland and beach. She will hack alone but is braver in company or with a confident rider and, in competitions, performs better once she is familiar with the location.
Happy to be schooled in an indoor and outdoor arena.
On the ground:
In the stable May loves to be brushed and fussed and there has never been an issue with tacking up or clipping. She is fine with the farrier (front 2 shoes only), dentist, vet etc. Fine to catch and loads well on a 3.5 ton van but haven’t tried her in other boxes.
Has been on busy and quiet yards and settles quickly. Has lived out 24/7 but is also very happy in her stable. Currently with a mixed herd but has also been in a mare-only field.
Seeking a home that has other horses/ponies and a confident rider that will offer May a variety of activities. Rider will need to be confident as May is forward but not silly.
