Description: Very sad sale of 5yo potential competition pony which needs more time than my daughter can give due to school commitment and as a result we feel his full potential isn’t being reached. Since owning from a newly backed 3yo he has always been very straightforward and easy to do in all ways. Great with clippers, dentist, easy to load, been barefoot all his life and perfect with the farrier. Smarty has been cross country a couple of times and been to the beach as a 4yo which he loved. He has been schooled professionally on a weekly basis on the flat for the last 8 months and having progressed very quickly is now established in all three paces and would produce a nice test. Despite not being jumped much he absolutely loves it, has a very scopey jump and has done the odd yard show. He would excel as a competition pony given the right education as he is very smart and willing. He loves his hacking and is never silly or spooky, he has been hacked by younger children and is always perfect and very reliable. Not a novice ride as he needs further producing and can be strong at times. Price reflective of his potential. Will be very sad to see him go as he has been a joy to own the past couple years, so a good home is very important. £8000 Ono
