- Coco 12 year old, 16.2 approx Irish sports horse mare with contender lines Coco is pretty much anyone’s ride, she is a kick along mare and really isint a world beater. Never in a hurry to go anywhere. Very much a kick along ride and more steady then go! Would suit happy hacking, funrides, riding club and allround low level home. She doesn’t step it up a gear not even out hunting where I took her and we cantered along our back behind everyone on the buckle and pulled up when they did wouldn’t overtake anyone bless her. You stop kicking, she stops working! She hacks well although is more kick and hard work to keep at an active walk if on her own, in company she just follows behind without kicking as much! Good in traffic. She is hard work in the school so be prepared for leg day every schooling day! She enjoys her jumping we’ve done a bit of xc with her and also jumped showjumps up to 1m. Very honest to jump just takes you at her own steady pace and will go on any stride if the rider gets it wrong! She has had novices ride her and my 9 year old daughter and really looks after her rider. My daughter also brings her in from the field and can turn her out and can groom her ect she is very laid back and easy to handle. Snaffle mouth. Would suit mother/daughter share to do then fun side with kid but step down and be a quiet hack for the mum. She has no stables vices, isint marish, is good to clip, shoe and load.
