Caederwen Brenin Jac 15.2hh Registered Welsh Section D, bright bay gelding, 12 years. Jac has massively enhanced our lives for the past 4.5 years and it is now time he did the same for the next lucky person. Jac was bought for my teenage daughter to give her confidence and to do a bit of everything. They have enjoyed showing including working hunter, show jumping, pony club, hacking etc. In fact, I (mum) have also done a fair bit with him too - he has been brilliant on fun rides, beach rides, pairs hunter trials and lots of show jump and x country hires. He even came first place in his first ever dressage comp with my daughter (prelim, NSEA). He has been so fantastic for us both!! My very tall nearly 18 year old daughter now needs a bigger sports horse to progress further with show jumping. He is very much at home in a showing environment. Behaves impeccably and knows his job. He is always a favourite with the judges - always placing and attracting attention and admirers wherever he goes. He has oodles of charisma and that look at me presence!! He is also a super hack - alone or in company, sensible in open spaces - forward going but has good brakes! Jac is a proper sturdy cob but very athletic with it. He moves straight and has three super paces. He is regularly schooled by us and also benefits from some professional schooling too. Whilst he is very willing, loves to work and respects his rider I wouldn’t describe him as a novice ride as he can throw the odd excitable buck and has plenty of Welsh exuberance (both of which we love!) He has a super jump technique and is careful and scopey - seldom has he touched a pole. Jac loads and travels well. He is good to shoe, I tend to give some Domosedan gel for clipping, teeth and vaccinations (he is needle shy). Comes to call to be caught in from the field. Jac has the most incredible presence and personality - I always describe him to people has having a sense of humour. He is just so amusing and even does a series of little tricks that my daughter has taught him - his party pieces!! You can just hang out with him in the field or stable - he enjoys the attention and is very much a people person. Jac will best suit a home with a competent small adult or teenager who is into showing/working hunter, hunter trials, fun rides and hacking. He is fit and in full work. This is very hard sale of a very special horse and he will only go to the best of homes! Open to vetting. Sale only - no time wasters, loans or lwvtb. Based in Exmouth.
