- Polly pocket rocket 12.3hh 11 year old mare. a genuine pony, unfortunately her owners are looking for something more established for their daughter now. Polly is a real sweet pony, she’s as bombproof as they come…she’s even been ridden when very loud fireworks have been going off closely, and didn’t bat an eyelid, There’s absolutely no malice in this mare at all, she has regularly been out low-level jumping and competing with her slight 10 year old jockey. Schooling well in a contact in walk and trot, but she is not a kick a long. Pollys only weak point is her canter, she’s green and unbalanced…But hasn’t ever bucked, reared or bolted, she simply just needs a competent rider to help improve the canter, she’s been on schooling with me for two weeks and this has improved daily. An easy hack, as I said she’s not fazed by anything. Polly is easy to do, she’s quiet on the ground & to brush and tack up. She’s quiet on the yard and at feed time, you wouldn’t even know she’s there! This pony really would excel with an older competent rider or a small teenager, she would turn her hoof to any discipline. She loves to jump, she’d be great for someone who just wants to get out and about, or with time and experience she’d be a very good competitive pony as she’s quick. Polly comes with her wardrobe and her brand new fitted Kent and masters saddle, she’s also recently just had a new bit professionally fitted which works really well for her.
