- Mothers dream pony! This gorgeous mare has been with us since she was 3yrs old, letting her go has not been an easy decision but we feel it’s right one for her. 12 yrs old Ludo is such a gentle girl and always looks after her rider in all situations. She’s great to catch, handle, load, with the dentist & farrier (not been shod as never been needed). She’s done all PC activities, -dressage -polo-cross -games, handy -pony -fun rides -she truly excels in Jumping and is always in the ribbons for showjumping, XC & eventing -hunting (doesn’t get fizzy or silly) -hacking in a variety of places and happy to take the lead or follow behind, roads, common, beach, mountains etc -Ludo was used in our small family run riding school until we closed in 2019, during this time she was used by children of all abilities and was a favourite amongst the children. -she has done a small amount of driving and took to this well, this isn’t something she’s done over the last 5 years so would need refreshing with this. -Ludo has been on loan with since summer 2020 and will be returning mid March for viewing Ludo has proven herself as a fantastic lead rein and first ridden pony, always looks after her rider, very honest pony with more whoa than go. Ludo has also been used as a second pony and has been fantastic! She would need to improve her fitness level to get back into this, however could take any dedicated rider to the top.
