- True Amateurs dream! Anyone’s ride! Total superstar through and through! Always sane, sensible with such a genuine nature and fantastic temperament. He is genuinely anyone’s ride and would very happily take a novice rider but equally will step up and give an amateur rider wanting to do grassroots and have lots and lots of fun and confidence! No ifs, buts or quirks he is literally mr reliable! Ollie an approx 16.1hh 6yr old Irish gelding by the sire Ballygarrett Cross and the dam Ballyvinter Silver Lily. A lovely traditionally bred Irish type with clean legs, great feet and real leg in each corner type who has a very sane and sensible head but has the ability to do any job! He has the kindest of hearts, extremely forgiving and is the sort which is very hard to find. Been there and got the t-shirt! Has done dressage, showjumping, riding club, beach rides, low level eventing and hunting. The ultimate allrounder! Always looks after his rider, he isn’t going to be a 4/5* horse but is a real trier and a genuine honest horse who always keeps going. He literally does everything in a sane and sensible manner. Would be an ideal contender for badminton grassroots at level or ideal for an amateur who wants a stress free horse to feel safe on whilst doing 80’s to 100’s. I also feel with continued education,milage and a competitive jockey he would jump around BE novices, he truly has the biggest of hearts! Double clears showjumping at 90cm/1m extremely honest,genuine and never says no! Gives anything a go, great with water, ditches and steps. Three lovely paces and with continued education could move through the levels but would also be ideal to give confidence to someone who wanted to do dressage at lower levels. Won his last dressage with 66% with some lovely comments from the judges with 8’s for his trot work. Superb hunter with manners to die for, perfect at the meet, great with hounds. Brave enough to jump big country including hedges and ditches but equally will look after someone who needs showing the ropes! Loves the beach, going in the sea and will canter along on the buckle end. Perfect to hack alone or in company, superb in open spaces and the heaviest of traffic. Totally unphased by artics, buses, lorries and genuinely feels very solid underneath you. Always snaffle mouthed, isn’t phased by rider errors and has been ridden by a variety of riders of all differing abilities who have all found him easy and straightforward. Defiantly doesn’t need daily work to keep him sane and is the same wether he’s ridden once a week or once a month! A joy to have at home, will live in or out with mares or geldings. Totally stress free in all ways. Lovely stable manners, doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane. 100% to box(trailer/lorry),shoe,clip and catch. Good home wanted for this genuine superstar!
