My 12-year-old daughter has owned Bailey for just under 3 years during which time they have formed a special bond. He will only be sold to the best of homes.
He is very handsome and intelligent with a big personality. He is well schooled and does a beautiful dressage test. We believe he has done some showing in a previous home, but this is not something we have pursued.
Bailey loves hacking and cantering through fields and woods. He is fast and fun but can always be stopped. He is good in all traffic and living next to a busy agricultural yard he is totally unfazed by tractors, lorries, quad bikes. He is bold and doesn't spook.
Bailey has attended numerous Pony Club rallies and two camps. My daughter has recently passed her C+ test on him.
We have never hunted him; this could be something he'd enjoy. I think he would also suit endurance as he has a lot to give. Bailey absolutely can jump but does not really enjoy it. Some days he wants to and some days he doesn't. For this reason, he will not go to a home where there is a focus on jumping as he wouldn't be happy.
He currently lives at a private yard turned out with two mares. He is very sociable and would prefer to part of a herd.
Bailey is good with the dentist, farrier and to clip. He loads and travels well. Never sick or sorry and up to date with teeth and vaccinations.
Bailey would be suited to a competent, confident rider who will take the time to build a relationship with him. He will only go to an experienced home.
