Description: Alfie 16hh 12yo gelding No breeding recorded Dumfries Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Alfie arrived the 3rd June and has been great since he arrived. He has been on a ride out with us (fun ride), hacked alone being absolutely fine with traffic he gets a bit impatient standing so best to just keep moving. Yesterday Alfie jumped a small course (including an iffy water tray type jump!) he then finished off with the tarp practice. Alfie's flatwork isn’t great as it’s not what he has been used for so not ready for a Grand Prix dressage test before anyone asks! To work with he is very affectionate and loves a bit of a fuss, he can be a fidget to tack up but he has only been here a week! Good with farrier- he had a set of front shoes put on but barefoot on the backs. Good to catch , happy out alone or in company. Alfie was in the same place from a yearling where he done all the town festivals and some hunting and general riding club stuff then in 2020 went to a school and is now with us. Best suited to a capable teenager or adult wanting to do some hunting or riding club.
