- Extremely sad sale of a much loved pony. Only for sale due to my son outgrowing her. 11.2, 11 year old mare. She was my sons first pony off the leadrein and taught him how to canter and jump small courses. We have done so much with her, she hacks brilliantly alone or in company, on the lead or off, completely unfased by any traffic and is not spooky, me and my son regularly hack out together and I know he is completely safe on her. We have done lots of pony club activities with her, pony club camp, rallies and mounted games and she has not been worried about any equipment we have come across. Happy to ride in a group lesson or on her own. Jumping she is most comfortable at 30-40cm, she is very much a kick along and won’t rush the fences. She is not spooky and will jump small fillers/planks/logs/ditches. She has also had unbalanced children on the leadrein bobbing about and it does not bother her. She is upto date with teeth, vaccinations and recently had the physio for a routine check. Bare foot and good for the farrier. She would suit a leadrein or off the leadrein home. The children can do everything with her on the ground. She does require some good pony club kicks at times off the lead as she doesn’t always like to do more than she has to! She isn’t a robot and can ‘avoid’ the fence if the rider isn’t committed or have the odd shake of the neck if being told to do something she would rather not do! She has taught my son so much and we will be so sad to see her go. 5 star home and absolute must. I have hundreds of photos and videos.
