- *Updated ad* Never raced! I cannot speak more highly of this horse, he has a lovely, easy going attitude. He genuinely seems to enjoy schooling and jumping. He’s a good doer and chunky, everyone is surprised he’s a TB. Perfect to load, travel and shoe. No vices, sarcoids, lumps or bumps. Passed a 2 stage vetting when I bought him recently. Open to own vettings, trainers etc. He’s still young and a bit green but I think he’s safe enough for a novice to produce with their trainers guidance. His schooling is coming on beautifully, I think he could easily BD. I’ve left him days without riding and got straight on. He can be a kick along or you can pick him up and ask him to work. He has a nice technique and careful jump. I took him to his first show and he went straight into the ring and picked up two thirds. Didn’t look at anything and seemed like he was thoroughly enjoying himself! I think he will be an extremely quick one in future and absolutely talented enough to BS. Jumping 80cm at home currently but scope for BN/Disco in future. Hacking in company he had no problem with traffic, we had huge lorries coming past and he didn’t bat any eyelid despite our cob escort having a meltdown! I’ve been told he’s done beach rides etc. His only negative is he’s not very confident hacking alone yet. Traffic is no problem but he wants to stop and look at things and I overdid it taking him up to a scrap yard where he got too scared and I had to jog him back down the road. UPDATE - he’s now hacking alone every day, and where he got scared near the scrap yard there is apparently an underground drain which a lot of the yard horses are scared of. He’s going past that every day now and doing really well. He still wants to stop and look at a few things and you have to kick him along a bit but he’s getting there. I still think he’d be difficult for a novice to hack alone yet. He looks a bit grumpy sometimes but he’s an absolute sweetheart who would love to be groomed and scratched all day!! I’ve already kept this boy longer than I’d planned too, he’s been a really fun one to have on the yard. Worming & vaccinations all up to date. Based Manston, Kent CT12 5BX
