Very sad sale of our wonderful pony Manny (Twyford Music Man). We have had Manny for 18 months and he has taken my then 6 year old daughter from complete novice who couldn’t do rising trot to happily cantering and popping fences off the lead rein. We are only selling as my daughter is now taking on her older sisters outgrown 12.2hh pony and I don’t have space for 3! Manny is a very well bred Welsh Section A who will be 13 in May. He has done all PC activities on and off lead rein including camp, SJ, XC etc. We have also done grassroots NSEA and a little local showing. Whilst we haven’t done much showing as it’s not really our cup of tea, he has done lots with previous owners with great success as he’s a handsome boy with great movement and presence. He is fabulous out hacking, unflappable and safe, great in open spaces and fine with big machinery having lived in a farm. Off lead rein he is more of a kick-along and is perfectly safe but lead rein is what he’s happiest doing. He’s also happy being led from another pony. In his previous home Manny did have laminitis although he has been fine with us. We do however keep a very close eye on him and limit his grazing and soak his hay. For this reason I would rather he went to an experienced home who can manage this. Manny is well known within the Grafton PC as he has been active not only with us but also with his two previous owners. We would love for him to stay local so we can still see him out and about and will be vetting prospective homes. He absolutely will not be sold unseen or to a dealer. He is a fantastic family pony and that is what I want for his next home. He is barefoot and comes with tack and a couple of rugs.
