I bought Luna in March 2020 as a project to bring on. She had one foal in Ireland and her previous owners then brought her over to UK where soon after it was discovered she was already in foal again. She therefore only really began her ridden career as a 7 year old with me so has little mileage for her age. Luna is a fantastic all-rounder and I have really enjoyed bringing her on - she has a great attitude and likes to please. She is not mareish and is very laid back at a competition. She goes in a snaffle for all phases and is never strong. Hacks alone and in company and has been on several fun rides. I see no reason why she wouldn’t enjoy hunting/team chasing. Luna has three lovely paces and has been an amazingly consistent performer. Has won at unaffiliated BD Novice level, usually gaining 68% plus scores. Qualified for Riding Club National Championships last week. Ability to move up the levels. Consistent careful showjumper rarely having a pole down and is jumping 1m courses with ease with plenty of scope to progress. She has done several UA one day events with multiple double clears and placings. Highlights: 6th SWWRC Dressage Championships (2021) 10th Waverton Cotswold Cup 80cm (2021) 4th Oxstalls Cotswold Cup 80cm (2021) 1st BRC Arena 9 Eventing Qualifier 90cm (2021) Double Clear 90cm Arena Eventing Championships at Aston le Walls (2022) 4th in 90cm qualifier for BRC Combined Championships (2022) 3rd Waverton Cotswold Cup 90cm (2022) 6th Area 9 BRC Horse Trials & qualified for Nationals with team (2022) 1st Area 9 Dressage Qualifier (BD Novice level) & qualified for Nationals (2022) I think a lot of this mare so five-star home of utmost importance.
