- First Summer looking for a new 🏡 Very sad to let this boy go after enjoying him for 5yrs, Summer is a 16h 2012 tb and is without a doubt the most talented horse I’ve had the pleasure of riding, and I sadly no longer have the time to do him justice. Summer previously raced so is ror eligible and a great deal of care and effort has gone into his retraining. Competed at BE90 and BD prelim but easily schools at 100cm (sj + xc) and elementary dressage. Established lateral work and always snaffle mouthed. Qualified for Scottish dressage champs and pet plan in 2020. I had planned on moving him up to BE100 but he has the talent and scope to go much further in any sphere. Careful sj, bold xc and lovely paces for dressage and an excellent attitude for work and learning. Hacks alone or in company, kept on a busy working farm so well used to tractors, cows, sheep etc. Good with farrier, vet, dentist, loads on a trailer or a lorry, good to clip. Is barefoot at present and has been for over a year. Currently lives out 247/365. jags up to date, teeth and feet done, recently wormed. Only vice Summer has is that he is a weaver, a hang up from his racing days. He’s currently unfit at present as I’ve just not got the time for him. Summer would suit someone wanting to be competitive but is just as happy being pulled out the field after a week for a jolly. He is a big cuddly and affectionate boy, and my horse of a lifetime so only the best home will do. Full wardrobe including two fitted saddles negotiable. Have plenty of photos and videos. Based in Stirling.
