Trigger is a much-loved member of our family who has been ridden by nervous mum, non-horsey dad, 11 year old and teen owner. He has been an active member of a pony club, hacks alone (I have trusted him to take my then 15 year old out alone and bring her back safe) and in company. He is never out of the ribbons at local UA dressage competitions (up to elementary - 62%). He is for sale as his teenage owner is doing A-levels and has a younger horse to event on and the younger sister needs a smaller pony.
He has front shoes (although he was barefoot last year), lives out in the summer, but very happy in a stable. Good to load, shoe, and for the dentist. Happy in the trailer, and horsebox. Up to date with dentist, vaccinations etc. Snaffle mouth at all times and is the same if you leave him for a week or ride him every day!
However, Trigger has undergone a bilateral neurectomy and fasciotomy and interspinous ligament desmotomy. This was done by Rossdales in June 2021. He has been successfully rehabbed and the vets were delighted with his progress. He is currently ridden 5 days a week and has been back out winning rosettes. He is regularly seen and treated by a vet physio.
The other bad part is Trigger can buck and therefore requires a sensitive rider who can sit a buck. He needs his head up and to be made to use himself. My daughter finds them easy to sit.
Low low price to reflect all this and Trigger will come with all his tack (last saddle check Jan 2023) and rugs.
