Rosie is such a lovely mare, with a really lovely nature. She's a lovely horse to have on the yard, everyone loves her. She's super easy to handle on the ground, easy to catch, shoe, clip (have done it with no head collar before she's so quiet), will stand for hours to be groomed and pampered. My children lead her in from the field she's so quiet. She will load on a trailer or lorry (sometimes needs a few minutes but always goes on).
Rosie loves to go hacking and exploring, is happier and more relaxed in company but will hack alone but takes confidence from the rider.
If you take Rosie somewhere new to go hacking she takes it all in her stride and is super chilled, is fine in open spaces, brilliant in traffic, is used to seeing farm machinery, doesn't phase her at all.
I think Rosie would make a lovely hunter, although she hasn't seen hounds with me I don't think she'd be too phased by it.
It's been a really difficult decision for me to part with Rosie and I'm looking for a special home for this lovely girl. I bought her to get me back into riding after having my children, I'm now at the point of wanting to do more, my heart lies with dressage and that's what I'd love to return to doing but sadly this just isn't for Rosie, she doesn't want to be going round in circles she'd rather be out having hacking adventures.
If you think you could offer a long term loving home for this special girl then please get in touch, I do not wish for her to be passed around as she doesn't deserve this.
