- Major Heartbreaking sale of my 15.3hh 15 year old gelding whom I’ve owned and retrained for the past 3.5 years straight out of racing. Selling due to personal reasons. Hacks alone or in company and very good in traffic. Show jumped up to 90 competing. Has competed in dressage, sj and eventing (90) unaffiliated. He loves his jumping and will take you in and is showing great promise in his dressage. Does everything in a snaffle and a basic cavesson bridle with little to no issue. ROR eligible Very good on the ground and settles quickly on new yards. Been used in uni/college practicals with no issues. Trying to be honest as possible, Most of the time Major is a very docile horse but when ridden he can rear if he doesn’t understand and you get agitated with this or if he gets over excited but they are never vicious and he gives pre warning. I’ve always managed to sit to them and I’m no top level rider. And it’s not that common he just does it ever so often He is the first horse I’ve ever owned and he’s given me the best experience so I want to do what’s best for him and find him a home who will love him just as much and keep him for life 💕 Very willing to learn but does require a patient rider so no novices Would suit a confident teenager/ adult Looking for a knowledgeable and experienced home Would thrive in a low level competition or happy hacking home or even to a pony club home 5* home important Price inc tack etc Pm for vids Based Essex but will be moving to East Yorkshire end of May if not sold
