- Mahlers Star - I bought him for my first season point to point but a change in job resulted in lack of time. He is absolutely good as gold on the ground you can do anything with him he’s a real sweet heart. When ridden he does perk up hacking alone he can be very sticky and unsure, he has never reared or bucked with me but he will plant and has run back on occasion when the neighbours dog runs at the fence screeching, when he goes out daily he is absolutely fine. In company he is absolutely fine just ambles along with the others. He has seen some xc fences on a fun ride where he behaved impeccably, children bolting up behind him, horses over taking and he was good as gold so I think he would make a fantastic hunter and he jumps like a stag. I have done no school work with him so far but I plan to do some schooling and introduce coloured poles in the next few weeks. He would make a lovely all rounder with work, Hunter or return to point to point. Price will go up with more work he does. Comes with rugs and bridle Excelle close contact saddle available on separate negotiation.
