- This is Ivan he is a big rangy strong ride but loves his job. He never refuses he never bucks or rears he’s just strong 💪. If you can stay cool clam and collected he is perfect horse. I’m wanting to start jumping 1.10 and Ivan is definitely more suited for low level stuff on the show jumping side due to having si problems, he has had this injected but it’s obviously something to take in to account. He’s perfect to load and to take to stay away. He is never stressy, he’s good for the farrier and the vet he has brilliant ground manners. He is the type I would let my nan lead around the yard. Placed 3rd recently at a 80 Hunter trial and 2nd in 70 showjumping and 5th in the 80 showjumping. He has 3 correct paces in the school, Has gone and done team chase and brought me home safe. He’s been hunting and was the perfect gentleman! Stood solidly at the meet and every time we needed to stop, no messing around up at the front he’s not the fondest of the dogs getting to close to his legs but I just move him away from them. Jumps everything he sees first time ! I think he would be suited to someone who is wanting to do more hunting and who is use to strong horses, he needs a quiet rider who can ride. He’s not a horse that you can learn on so please no novices or anyone thinking he will teach them, he is a whole other level. Like I said the only reasons for sale is that I’m wanting to do more showjumping rather then hunting. If you would like more information please give me a call.
