This is a complete honest advert so please read before messaging me.
Currently selling this mare as a project because Nellie hasn’t been ridden for 7 months as she was put out on loan from September 22- march 23 and the loanee didn’t ride her as never had the time.
I am slowly bringing her back into work. (The price will increase with the more work I do with her)
She is bombproof mare in the past she has passed tractors, lorries buses ect and has passed them with no problems
She’s had beginners to confident riders on her in the past.
She walks, trots, canters and gallops. She has jumped in previous homes. I haven’t personally jumped her myself.
At the moment all I’ve done with her since she’s come back into my care is sit on her and walk her around the yard. And she was absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault her at all.
I’ve took her out for walks Inhand and she absolutely loves it. Any chance this mare gets to go out her ears a constantly pinned forward. She loves being out.
Nellie is the most sweetest mare once you get a bond with her. At first she will see if she can push your buttons but with a firm no! And with the realisation that she cannot get away with anything. She will be the most loving mare you will ever meet. She loves cuddles and all the attention. She is the type of horse you can’t give loads and loads of treats as it will fry her brain.
In previous home before me she was kept in a herd and she use to be kept with another mare with me. But has come back from loan with a hate for other horses in her space. She will happily ride out with another horse and will go behind or infront. But on the ground she would rather be in a paddock on her own in her own space and groom other horses over a fence.
Nellie is easy to catch. She comes as soon as you call her name. She isn’t pushy on the lead rope. She will walk at your pace.
She is up to date with wormer, jabs, dentist, farrier ect.
She will load with ease into a box
She will happily live in or out.
She does pick up all four feet but can kick when picking up the back too. Which therefore you need to be stern with her. As she knows when she can take the piss. Once you’ve told her off she will then pick up her back feet.
This mare has so much potential in the right hands
I’m selling due to not having the time for two horses and work commitments. If I had the time for her I wouldn’t sell her. She is one in a million.
Only the best home for this girl.
No dealers or time wasters
I will not expect payment plans
