- TOP CLASS ALLROUNDER 16.1hh 9y/o Thoroughbred gelding Brownie was bought a year ago as a lockdown project and unfortunately it’s now time for him to find his forever home. He has 3 balanced, regular paces and is a light and responsive ride; training at elementary level at home showing further promise in the lateral work. Brownie has been to SJ and XC hire as well as used to being ridden in between the white boards, he doesn’t get silly or spooky away from home. He has plenty of ability to continue training up through the levels in both his dressage and jumping. Brownie has competently jumped round a 90cm course with scope to go higher with the right rider. Since last august I have mainly focused on Brownie’s dressage due to working at a professional dressage yard, I have just started working on his jumping again and he is proving to be much stronger and more confident over a fence. Brownie enjoys his jumping including going xc schooling and hunting, showing a love for both. He hunted through the autumn and was completely unbothered by the hounds, leading the field over ditches and standing perfectly at the meet once settled into his role. Brownie also enjoys going hacking in company or alone and is very well behaved in heavy traffic, open fields and regularly riding on busy country roads. Brownie has impeccable ground manners, being regularly handled by non-horsey parents both at home and away from home, he will load perfectly every time and will stand on the lorry by himself all day. He is also perfect to shoe and clip. Experienced loving home an absolute priority for this much loved horse. 10🥕 ONO
