- I bought Sherlock as a unbroken 3yo, fully produced from scratch. He’s been an absolute saint from day 1. Has never bucked or reared, one of the easiest horses I’ve broken in like he’s been here before. Unfortunately for sale as he is a narrow build and I’m nearly 5’8 so I’m just abit big for him and would love to find him a home that will carry on producing him. He schools very well with a consistent contact through transitions and all three paces. Will happily go in a snaffle never silly. Hacks out mostly on his own as on a private yard but equally loves a friend. Will happily go first or last, nanny younger horses, use as a road block! Will wait if one canters away etc. Hacks down a fast busy road and over flyovers. Has been to the beach happily goes in and will canter around. To jump he is becoming a dream. Has a very rhythmical, rideable canter that will only get better with time, you can see a stride every time as he never rushes into a fence. He is still slightly wobbly being narrow and young he will straighten with strength. Always has his ears pricked. I can pull him out the box, pop him on the trailer and go jumping on my own. He’ll stand on the trailer all day, stands to be tacked up, will park up in the warm up never causes trouble or gets fresh or silly out competing. He’s done a unaffiliated ODE finishing 3rd, has done unaffiliated sj and a few bs British Novices on a ticket. He would be a fantastic horse to aim for 5yo classes as he does excel with his jumping but equally has xc schooled never looking and competed proving level headed and brave so would make a great eventer. No vices, clean legs, fully shod and ready to go. In full work so could take him out tomorrow. He has 2 small warts on his sheath but no other lumps or bumps. I let his bridle down to put it over his ears as he can be a little sensitive but never causes a scene in any other way with them and doesn’t if you do that. Up to date with jabs, teeth, back and feet. Would love for him to go to someone wanting to carry on competing him and producing him up the levels as he does love going out places. No novices or time wasters. Only the best homes possible for this great little horse
