- Welsh Section BDunMare7 years13 hands Honey has had a fabulous summer finding out what she is best at- jumping! Attended Pony Racing Camp Newmarket Honey is back on the market after having a fabulous summer on loan with a fantastic rider who has helped her progress and is jumping like a superstar! We had bought her last year for our 8 year old daughter, but sadly she was too much of a pony for her, Honey needs a competent quiet rider who likes to be taken to the jump. Ideally a petite 12+ year old who wants to go out and win on a fast pony who can turn on a sixpence! This summer she went to stay away pony club camp and to the Newmarket pony racing camp which she relished in and would make a great racing pony. She is very quick thinking and honest , has jumped 90cm SJ & xc fences with ease. She would be best suited to a busy home - the more she does the better she gets. Absolutely brilliant on the ground, very placid, has been out with mares and geldings, great to load in trailer or lorry, fab on the road, easy to clip & super with the farrier. Often ridden in from the field in just a head Collar. As we don’t have the jockey to show her off properly she is with Georgina Powell whose daughters have been riding her and there are lots of posts of her being ridden on Georgina’s Facebook page. She isn’t the finished product, but in the right hands is dynamic which is why she needs to find the right jockey. She comes with some rugs and her bridle, saddle available separately .
