- Oreo is a 15 year cob with an amazing and kind temperament. We bought her 3 years ago having known Oreo since my daughter was 8, she is now 15 and 5'8!! My daughter needed a confidence boosting fun pony after having a bad fall on previous pony. She has been with us for 3 years and in this time she has been xc schooling, unaffiliated show jumping at 60/70cm, fun rides and she excels in all. Oreo wears a snaffle. She has taken my young daughter from a scared, nervous rider to a confident one. At home, she jumps out on our xc field, loves a canter and gallop in our open fields and is super safe at all times. She would do ok at dressage but this has never been my daughters favourite discipline. In the arena she has jumped a small course of 80's but needs a slight growl to be told to go over. Oreo also is brilliant hacking out alone and with company. Traffic does not bother her and she has been known to lead others past scary objects. I am always happy knowing she will bring my daughter home safe. She is brilliant to take for a gallop with others and is never silly or unsafe. She is perfect to shoe, load, travel and will stand all day to be groomed and fussed. Oreo currently lives out 24/7 but we do stable her sometimes if field has been flooded and she was stabled in previous home. Her only vice is that she doesn't like to be clipped and therefore needs to be sedated but this has never been a problem and we do it ourselves with Dom. My daughter does absolutely everything with her. She is not be be suited to a nervous rider or novice as although she’s really safe, she’s forward. She is a very safe, loving and fun pony. She is looking for a long term/ forever home that will love her the same way as we have.
