- A very hard sale of our gorgeous family pony Frankie, Blue Blagdon Cob. Frankie is just the friendliest pony who will stand to be groomed and fussed all day long. He has attended both mini pony club camp(for a 3 year old on lead rein) and junior pony club camp this year. Lots of hacking/ sponsored rides and jumping clinics with us. I grew up on the hunting field and although I haven’t taken Frankie I know he would make the perfect hunting pony, loves to follow, brilliant brakes never strong and ridden in a snaffle at all times. Will pop any jump put in front of him much more woah than go. Always the first up to you in the field, will load himself onto a trailer or lorry. Great to clip/ferrier/ teeth. We have had Frankie for almost 2 years for my novice 10 year old son who adores him, unfortunately Frankies only vice is he can be a bit stubborn in the school if he knows his rider is a beginner!! So for this reason and as my son is just not that interested anymore , I feel it is best for Frankie to find a stronger little rider to love him and go and have fun on. He really is the most loveable friendly pony who just wants to be someone’s best friend. I would say because of this best suited as a second pony to get the best from him or a mother/child share or even light weight adult. He won’t even try and stop if you’re balanced and a strong leg, he’s just cheeky and knows. My son has hacked him all over the place in big open fields as we live on a farm and foot perfect will never bomb off brilliant with traffic and heavy farm machinery. Up to date with all vaccinations lots of photos and videos available on request, such a difficult decision as he is so very much loved and such a loving pony! Right home is very important.
