- Harry 15.1, gelding, Connie x TB Eventing / Showjumping prospect Well built and beautiful Impressive bold jump Harry shows all the potential to make an amazing event horse who could excel in any discipline, he is not a novice ride as he is still young and green in areas. However he shows potential in all aspects and he is very ready for someone to put their stamp on him. Harry has three balanced paces and is working well in a consistent frame. He is responsive off the leg without being too forward. Jumping is definitely Harry’s strength, he has a lovely scopey but careful jump, and for a young horse is incredibly honest. Harry was brought for my 12 year old daughter last year who has had a lot of fun on him and jumped him at home upto 1 metre with lots of scope to go higher. Harry has attended unaffiliated 80/90cms showjumping at Felbridge and has cross country schooled, proving to be very bold and honest. He has also attended Pony Club rallies at Golden Cross and thoroughly enjoyed racing at the gallops. We have travelled Harry to different arenas and he takes a while but will always settle. Harry is good to hack, calm in open spaces and traffic although he does prefer to go out in company he will hack alone with a rider who makes him feel confident. He has always been ridden in a snaffle. He loads and travels well. Harry is up to date with vaccinations, worming and the dentist. He is currently shod in front and good for the farrier. We have clipped him once and he was a little nervous but fine. Ideally, we want Harry to go to a home where someone is willing to put in the time and love needed to finish producing him and who has experience with young horses. He is a clever horse who learns very quickly and is keen to please. He really is an incredible horse who will with the right rider go very far. He has so much to give and enjoys a good routine and having a job to do. He also loves his cuddles. As he is still young and rider led it is very important for us to find him a 5 star experienced home.
