- Quinn is a 5yo Irish gelding standing approx. 16.1hh who has been slowly and carefully started with his future in mind and is low mileage for his age. He is ready for someone to put their own stamp on him and produce him further. He is good to hack both alone and in company, will go first or last and hasn’t been phased by any traffic he’s met with us. He is also fantastic in open spaces having done lots of off road hacking too and is never strong or silly. He has also been known to enjoy a pub ride! He’s happy to stand around patiently and think for this reason he would also make a great hunter. Quinn is starting to work nicely in to an outline and show off his attractive paces giving you a lovely feel in the school as he’s getting stronger each day. He’s proving he will produce a smart dressage test with a bit more work or could be a smart show horse. He has only jumped under saddle twice as the main focus has been his flatwork, building his strength and getting out and seeing the world. He has a nice pop in him but is an area that he is green in and will need additional work. Everything he has done he has been snaffle mouth and he is good for the farrier, vet, load, travel, clip and catch and has no vices. We think he could turn his hoof to anything from showing to hunting to eventing and everything in between and would love to find him a home who is going to enjoy him and take him out and about. He is more kick than pull and does require a confident, forward thinking rider due to his age and level of experience to ensure he continues to progress to his full potential. The owner is asking £8,995 and home is of high importance as he is only for sale due to a change in her circumstances. He is based with us on livery near Cullompton (10mins from J27 of the M5).
