Description: This handsome man is a strong minded character, that is adjusting to the working life again. He has been in the same home since he was 6 months old, grew up with 2 children learning how to ride and fussy over him. He has been out of work for a good few months now and has predominantly been left to do as he pleases...until now! He has never been ridden in an arena, only the field he was turned out in and hacking around the village. He is proving brave facing the fillers, jump wings, coloured poles and the busy-ness of the arena. He is turned out with a big herd of geldings and mares and keeps himself to himself, lived on his own with no company all his life so i do want him to have a friend going forward. He can be clumsy sometimes on the ground and working on standing patiently. He is currently green in the arena due to being inexperienced but adapting with each session, is typical 'cob' stubborn at times but never unmanageable for a capable rider. I would say he would suit a confident teenager/small adult wanting a steadier ride. Stan loves fuss and has lacked the attention he deserved over the years, but is ready to find his people and begin his fresh start. He's not a world beater but a sturdy cob that has loads of life left in him to learn about the world and be part of a loving family! Up to date with all. Happy to live in or out but prefers out, or stabled for small periods.
