- JACK 17.2hh, full ID 5 year old gelding. These types don’t come around very often and he really is the most impressive boy. Great bone, a weight carrier and very safe and steady. We have owned Jack for just under a year now as he came straight over from Ireland as an unbroken 4yo. Jack was professionally broken in 4 months ago and is now ready to start his career. Jack is currently hacking alone and in company and is incredibly quiet. He is good in traffic and is used to farm machinery. He has started his education in the school and is definitely more of a kick on than a pull and never gets strong. He is ridden in a snaffle. Jack has just started jumping in the school and will pop a fence quietly and safely. He is so kind and gentle on the ground and will always let you catch him. This horse would suit a lady or gentleman wanting to have a safe day be it hacking, hunting, sponsored rides or a riding school. We are selling Jack as I bought him for my partner to hunt, but sadly he has lost interest. A very sad sale and he will only go to the very best of homes, who can continue his education, understand that he is still green and a young horse. This should be a £15k+ horse as he has the looks, the temperament and a very obliging nature, but sadly does have a very mild shiver (which is only noticeable when being shod) and never affects his ridden work. He also has an old cosmetic scar on his hock which he can be sensitive on to touch - so wouldn’t be suitable in a showing home). Please no time wasters, no trials, loan homes or lwvb.
