Marvin has been with us since early 2020 and has had a great start to his ridden life, He is 9 years old and goes on and off the lead rein, although he prefers to be on the lead rein and is not forward going. As the video shows he will trot around a little course off lead rein.
He is a sweet natured, steady little chap who has taught my granddaughters to ride.
He has been invaluable for their safety and confidence. He is a pleasure to own and our mares and geldings get on really well with him. He’s great to hack and safe on roads and in open fields.
He lives on a farm so has no issues with cows, chickens, tractors, machinery, lorries, dogs or screaming children.
A wonderful, laid back pony for a small child. He has enjoyed pony day clinics, hacking on or off lead rein around fields and roads, unaffiliated showing, jumping, in hand, working hunter and games.
Supreme lead rein champion in 2021 and 2022 at our local show with my youngest grandchild.
Winner In hand class at STARS 2019 and
STARS qualifier in 2021 and 2022 in LR ridden, first ridden and LR working hunter.
(Could not go in 21/22 due to mum having a new baby)
He has never taken off or bolted and pulls up easily and is definitely more kick than pull, he has proved to be safe in every situation.
No lumps or bumps and has always been sound.
Goes barefoot, good with farrier, loves a bath, clip, teeth, groom, loads onto lorry or trailer and travels well, he will stay tied up all day with a hay net.
